Made to be usedby everyone.
Our commitment to an accessible website, what we do today, and how to tell us if something gets in your way.
This is a draft for review. Have a qualified professional review it before publishing.
01Our commitment
Isolora exists to make technology feel less intimidating, and that has to include our own website. We want everyone to be able to read, navigate and contact us, whatever device, setting or assistive technology they use.
Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We treat this as an ongoing practice, not a one-time checkbox.
02What we do
- Readable type. Clear fonts at comfortable sizes, generous line spacing, and text that can be zoomed to 200% without breaking the layout.
- Color contrast. We check that text and important controls stand out clearly from their backgrounds.
- Keyboard navigation. Every link, button and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline so you always know where you are.
- Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, we turn off or calm animations and smooth scrolling.
- Labelled forms. Every field on our contact form has a visible label, and you get a clear confirmation when your message is sent.
- Meaningful structure. Headings, landmarks and lists are marked up properly so screen readers can move through pages easily. Illustrations that carry meaning have text descriptions; purely decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Plain language. We write in everyday words and explain technical terms when we use them.
- Works on small screens. Pages adapt to phones and tablets without sideways scrolling.
03Known limitations
We are honest about where we are still improving:
- Animated backgrounds. Some pages have soft, slowly moving background shapes. If they are distracting, turn on "Reduce motion" in your device settings (on Apple devices, under Accessibility, then Motion; on Windows, under Accessibility, then Visual effects, then Animation effects). The site will then show a still version.
- Linked content. Some pages link to other websites that we do not control, and their accessibility may vary.
04Ask for help or report a barrier
If something on this site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please tell us. You will never be a bother. It helps us make the site better for everyone.
Email legal@isolora.com and, if you can, let us know:
- The page or feature you were using
- What went wrong, or what you needed
- The device, browser and any assistive technology you use, if you are comfortable sharing
You can also use our contact page. If a form is the barrier, email works just as well, and we are happy to talk it through in whatever way suits you.
05How quickly we respond
We aim to reply to accessibility messages within 5 business days. If a fix takes longer, we will tell you what we are doing and find another way to get you the information or help you need in the meantime.
06How we check
We review the site with automated checks, keyboard testing, and zoom and small-screen testing.
